Buena Vista Winery
Before there were vineyards in every valley north of San Francisco, before Napa and Sonoma were household names before there was a California wine world at all, there was Buena Vista. Founded in 1857, and spanning from Sonoma and into Napa, Buena Vista is California’s first premium winery, and its history is as colorful as it is proud. Today, the legend has been re-born under the vision of Jean-Charles Boisset.

Monique Marvez is truly one of a kind — a quick-witted, big-hearted comedian, writer, and radio/TV personality whose comedy is the perfect mix of “A-Ha!” and “Ha-Ha!” moments.
Her television career has flourished with three Showtime specials — The Latin Divas of Comedy, Snoop Dogg Presents the Bad Girls of Comedy, and her own acclaimed one-hour special Not Skinny, Not Blonde, inspired by her critically acclaimed book of the same name.
Monique’s credits also include appearances on Comedy Central, HBO, ABC, and PBS, as well as hosting Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve from South Beach. She was personally selected by John Gray to write the Broadway-bound touring show based on Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus.
Monique’s comedy always comes back to what connects us — love, family, friendship, and all the funny, messy stuff in between. With her sharp wit, fearless honesty, and incredible improv chops, she has a magical way of turning any room into a shared moment of laughter and connection.
