Buena Vista Winery
Before there were vineyards in every valley north of San Francisco, before Napa and Sonoma were household names before there was a California wine world at all, there was Buena Vista. Founded in 1857, and spanning from Sonoma and into Napa, Buena Vista is California’s first premium winery, and its history is as colorful as it is proud. Today, the legend has been re-born under the vision of Jean-Charles Boisset.
Meet your Headliner:
MONICA PIPER
Los Angeles-based headliner comedian Monica Piper is an Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning comedy writer, actor, and comedian. She has written for hit sitcoms including Roseanne and Mad About You, and served as head writer and producer of the #1 children’s animated series, Rugrats. A standout performer, Monica starred in her own Showtime Network special, No, Monica, Just You, and was nominated by the American Comedy Awards as one of the top five female comedians in the country.
Featuring - Solange Castro
Solange Castro is a Los Angeles-based writer, stand-up comic and playwright. She is a regular performer at The Westside Comedy Theater, where she also teaches Stand-up Comedy 101. She was chosen as “Comic of the Week” on The Jackie & Laurie Show. In the Fall of 2025 she will begin teaching “The American Art Form of Stand-up Comedy” at Yale University. She has opened for long-time friend Maria Bamford and you might catch her as Maria’s friend “Solange” in the Netflix sitcom Lady Dynamite. Solange attended Yale University where she majored in English Literature.
