Crazy Rich Wines is:
- An Asian American Wine Social Club based in California's Sonoma Valley. The club's goal is to pay tribute to the dedicated Asian Americans who helped build wine country. Between 1856 - 1869 Chinese Migrant Workers planted the majority of Sonoma County's 3.2 million grape vines. These hardworking people were some of the first in the wine industry and they dug wine caves, bottled wine, and were stewards of the land. Asian American roots run deep in wine country. In 1882 Congress passed the Chinese Exclusion Act prohibiting immigration which forced amazing people to leave their homes. CRW honors the many Asian Americans who made a huge impact on the beginnings of what is today's wine country. Leading up to this annual events, CRW hosts monthly 'incubators' at sought-after wine country destinations. These super fun mixers give guests a chance to share ideas, meet winemakers, enjoy informal learning opportunities about wine, network and connect with the local wine community.
- An exclusive stand-up comedy event, live or virtual that highlights Asian American comedians and actors.
